About Us and our Happy Pill

“Happy Pill” started as a phrase that we coined when we first travelled internationally together back in 2012. We went to Hong Kong together with our friends and we had a day just for ourselves. We left the hostel around 6 in the morning and went back around 1AM. You can imagine how sore our feet were. It was a non-stop walking day and we decided that we need to buy some OTC pain killers to relieve our pain. We began popping those pain killers and called them our “Happy Pill”

We have learned a lot since our Hong Kong trip and, while we still bring some OTC pain killers on our trips, we barely pop some pills to relieve soreness in our feet.

In hindsight, our happy pill moment, which is our first travel, marked the start of our learning experiences together as a couple. Thus, our goal is to be able to share our happy pill moments through the travel experiences that we have throughout the years.
